Tink Safeer is a mixed-media artist whose work delves into the intricate tapestry of human connection with one another and our environments. Embracing a maximalist approach, she creates densely layered compositions that invite viewers to explore and discover new details with each viewing.
Drawing strongly from personal experiences of extensive childhood travel, and growing up in a mixed-faith household without a hometown or singular community, Safeer explores ideas related to home & community, as well as human relationships with each other and the environments surrounding them. With recurring visual themes of vintage aesthetics and celestial motifs, Safeer's art aims to evoke wonder, curiosity, comfort, and connection. Through rich imagery and storytelling, she invites audiences into a visually captivating world where every piece tells a unique and compelling story, resonating with viewers on multiple levels.
